Gymnastics - Part Deux

We enrolled Sarah into a gymnastics class (last Fall) at 1 of the 2 places here in Corona, at the recommendation of her last daycare teacher. Well...Sarah hated it. And frankly, I hated it too. They were SO competitive!! I guess that's fine if you're seriously into gymnastics but we just wanted Sarah to have FUN. I mean she was ONLY THREE YEARS OLD!! The teacher was not nice and would even yell at the kids when they didn't a move right! Ridiculous...So, we pulled her out in January. We have some friends who told us about the other gymnastics place in town and we decided to check it out. It is AMAZING!! Sarah L-O-V-E-S it! They make it so much more fun AND best of all...2 of her besties from school go too - they're even in the same class! Woot!! Now Sarah can't wait for gymnastics every week!! Maybe she will make it to the Olympics some day...now that she actually enjoys what she's doing!!

Whale Watching

Well, we survived pink eye! Yay!!

The day before Easter we went whale watching out of Newport Beach - Sarah's first time on a boat! I was a little nervous about her getting sea sick as Chris and I have been in the past, but the 3 of us did GREAT! She LOVED being out on the water!! We didn't see anywhales (boo) but we did see a ton of dolphins and sea lions - which were just perfect for Sarah!

Before we left the harbor, Sarah decided to try the big bouncer. She was really excited about it until she got up on it and was strapped in. Then she wouldn't do much on it but bounce a little. Once it was done though, she asked to go again!

Yes, I know...

it's been F-O-R-E-V-E-R since I last posted!! One day it's November and all of a sudden its almost the end of MARCH!! Ach!!

We had a fantastic and busy holiday season...Reno with my family and then Chris' parents came for Christmas. We said goodbye to 2011 and hello to 2012 with good friends and we sailed through January and February without causing too much damage only to slam into March with Chris' and Sarah's birthdays on the 6th!

I cannot BELIEVE that our precious little surprise miracle is now a full-fledged FOUR YEAR OLD!! It seems like just yesterday that she came into our lives, 22 days early (on her daddy's birthday). Everyday with her is such a blessing...she is definitely a gift from God!

We love you baby girl! (and yes, you'll always be my "baby" - even though you tell me you're a "big girl")

Elf on the Shelf

We got Sarah an Elf on the Shelf yesterday! We read her the story last night and after some serious thought, she decided to name him Belly Button! (After we talked her out of Santa Claus...).

She seemed to understand the concept but when it was time for bed, she didn't want him to go anywhere...

I thinks he figured if she held on to him while sleeping, he wouldn't be able to go tell Santa how she did that day?

Anyway, she awoke this morning to find Belly Button and Jessie watching TV together!
